Claude Code and Codex get the richest session context. NapCat also detects 25 popular agent CLIs at the process level, locally and read-only. Here is exactly what that means today.
Rich session integrations
Claude Code exposes live activity, project context, usage and opt-in approvals. Codex covers CLI runs and local Codex Desktop threads, including an exact jump back to the thread when available.
Process-level activity
For the other recognized CLIs, NapCat reports that the process is active and keeps it visible in the island. These detections do not all expose the same task, message or approval detail as Claude Code and Codex. Dedicated pages are available for Cursor, OpenCode, Copilot CLI, Droid, and Antigravity CLI.
Your own tools
If a tool is not on this list, it can still appear in the island through NapCat's local Live Activity API. The bundled CLI lets scripts, builds and deploys publish Working, Needs you and Done cards with project and jump-back context. Nothing is sent to a server.
