Keep the Mac awake for overnight runs

Honest about the Claude-only bits
Two NapCat features are tied to Claude Code today: approving permission prompts with Allow / Deny from the notch, and the Claude usage meter. Droid sessions get the live monitoring, the jump-to-tab, notifications, and the nap screen. We would rather say so than imply more than the app does.
Questions
Do I need to configure Droid for NapCat to see it?
No. NapCat recognizes Factory's Droid from your Mac's process list, read-only. There is no plugin, extension or config file - launch Droid and its session shows up in the notch.
Can I approve Droid permission prompts from the notch?
Not today. The Allow/Deny approval hook and the usage meter are Claude Code specific. Droid gets live session monitoring, jump-to-tab, notifications and the nap screen.
Does my code leave my Mac?
No. NapCat only reads your process list locally. The single optional network call is the Claude usage meter, which does not apply to Droid, so nothing about your Droid work is sent anywhere.
What are the requirements?
macOS 13 or newer on an Apple Silicon Mac. NapCat is $5 once with a free 2-day trial and no telemetry, and draws a mock notch on Macs that don't have one.
